• Senior mobile lead for MAP-C, Mercuria's energy-operations platform delivering real-time market data, BESS asset monitoring, forward forecasts, and gas & oil futures pricing for roughly 30 active power traders and external users across iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and Android.
• Took asset monitoring from 1-minute polling to true real time by integrating AVEVA Change Broker streaming, so live Net Power, LMP, and UDSP changes across a fleet of 8 BESS assets reach the app the moment they occur.
• Cut supply-and-demand data loads across ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, and other markets from roughly 2 minutes to 5-15 seconds, turning multi-market analysis into an at-a-glance workflow.
• Built and shipped an on-device AI Daily Recap for BESS assets using Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, where Swift computes each figure deterministically and the model writes plain-language trading briefs on iPhone with explicit fallbacks, zero inference cost, and trading data kept on device.
• Developed Swift Charts data-visualization features including asset comparison tables, metric dashboards, RTM offer curve charts, and Net Load Forecast vs Actual views.
• Turned the app into traders' away-from-desk reference with APNs push alerts for LMP moves and SOC thresholds, real-time web sync, Home Screen widgets with WidgetKit, and a companion Apple Watch app.
• Architected SwiftUI features with MVVM, async/await, and Combine, optimizing SwiftUI views and live-streaming data pipelines for performance.
• Integrated AVEVA Data Hub, Change Broker, YES Energy market data, Snowflake-backed AWS Lambda APIs, Redis-backed services, and internal REST APIs with structured logging and data mapping.
• Implemented Microsoft Entra ID / MSAL authentication and token-based API authorization across iOS and Android.
• Contributed backend-adjacent work by reviewing and updating AWS Lambda functions, SAM templates, and Snowflake query integration patterns, aligning mobile and backend API contracts, and using mock-driven development ahead of backend readiness.
• As senior lead of a two-person mobile team, de facto lead for both iOS and Android, shipped monthly releases across the App Store, Google Play, and Firebase App Distribution through Xcode Cloud and GitHub-based workflows.
